Going to the Chapel

My cousin, Marina, had the most fabulous fairy tale wedding last weekend. Carly was a flower girl - and on top of the world. It might possibly have been one of her all time favorite nights - definitely right up there with Disney! This will take me weeks to document....but I can't wait to give you a glimpse of how perfect it was.

Oh Happy Day

At Earth Fare, kids eat free on Thursday nights. We tried it out three weeks ago (so behind with documenting!). Not only did the kids get to eat free, but there was a fabulous face painter and a balloon man. Heaven!

First Day of Kindergarten

Carly and I headed to school at 7:10 this morning. She was quiet as we started out but also happy to begin a new adventure. Maggie has really missed her. Anytime Happy barks she thinks it's Carly coming home.

Day 121 and 122 - On the Road Home

We made it as far as Virginia today. The 80 degree temperatures were a nice change. The girls are pretty sick of the car - and we are, too...Luckily, only 5 hours away from home!!!

Here's how are van looked pulling out of Montreal...we could not fit another thing in there.

NY looked a lot different than when we drove up in February.

Can you see the temperature? 63 degrees when we crossed the border in the US.

Maggie actually slept on the first leg of our trip. She didn't sleep once on our way up - so this was a good sign. She looked so uncomfortable with her head flopping around everywhere - that eventually we propped up her head with this stuffed animal and shoe. All in all it was only an hour nap...but that's an hour longer than she usually sleeps in the car!

Maggie had pretty much had it by this point yesterday. Carly wasn't too thrilled to still be traveling either.

Day 2 - It seemed like we were never going to get out of Pennsylvannia today. We were all pretty happy to see West Virginia.

Day 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, and 120

Well....it's the eve of our departure from Canada. I'm pretty excited to be going home accept I'm so tired from packing and cleaning that I can barely type.

This is how we role these days...the double is packed for SC. I have to bribe them with Dora fruit chews - but it works.

Carly made price tags, too. They were really good deals!

Dance recital at preschool...it was sooo cute! You have to ask them to do the chihuahua dance the next time you see them.
