Inauguration Day

Carly's school was cancelled on Tuesday because we had a "dusting" of snow...so little snow it wasn't worth a picture...So, Carly spent much of the morning in our playroom watching the inauguration. Her favorite part was Aretha Franklin's hat. She's hoping Oma will make her one just like it! Although I only saw small parts of the coverage, I'm really glad that Carly watched, too. Be sure to ask her about our new president the next time you see her.

10 months!!!

Maggie's New Moves

Maggie loves to dance. Anytime she hears music, she starts bopping along.

Christmas Carol

In ballet this past week, Carly's ballet teacher had each girl come up on stage and sing a solo. She thought this would help them get used to performing in front of a crowd for their May recital. After class, she stopped me and said, Carly has not said a word in here all year (shocking!!! thought she was actually kidding when she said that)...Then she went on to say that when it was Carly's turn she got up on stage and sang all four verses of Mary Had a Little Lamb extremely loud. What was funny to me was that she was surprised Carly did that. So...since Carly serenades me all day long (does she have some of Pop's genes?) thought I would share a little of her skills.

Our newest cousin

Over Thanksgiving we met Callum. He's five months younger than Maggie but already 2 pounds heavier! So chunky and cute. Maggie enjoyed patting his head (sometimes it was a little more like a smack). He was always a good sport.

A Happy Model

Maggie was very willing to pose for pictures in her new tutu Oma created.
