Carly's 1st Haircut
Carly went to her first salon today (Great Clips! - $10 w/tip). She was so funny. The lady who cut her hair told her to look down and not to move so the scissors would not cut her. Carly was so still - I have never seen her like that. She got 3 inches cut off. Carly did not say a word the whole time. The lady asked how she liked the haircut and Carly responded, "Fletcher will love this!". We had not even mentioned Fletcher today...I have no idea where that came from.
Sweet Laugh
Maggie had her hands in her mouth all day today! That made it a little difficult when we took her for some professional pictures today...but this laugh was so cute it was hard to care.

Another Carlyism - July 26th
Background: It's bedtime. Carly has had her bedtime books and one medium story. She's chanting "mommy" over and over. When Mommy responds after hearing her name for the hundredth time, Carly says that she must have ice cold water.
Mom tells her that she has two choices: water from the dixie cup in her bathroom or no water. Carly responds in a distressed voice "What's my second choice?".

Carly Quote of the Day - July 24
Background: Carly is sitting at Jenny's computer in the playroom typing letters into a blank document - a process she refers to as 'doing her emails.' An instant message pops up from Mike at his office. Carly exclaims:
"Daddy I just love you but you cannot SURPRISE me like that when I'm working!"

Mike and I have decided to create a diary about Carly and Maggie because we are quickly forgetting the little details that we want to remember. Jenna and Trevor had their second child (Callum) this week. This event brought on a lot of questions regarding Maggie and Carly's births. We were ashamed of how much we had forgotten. Granny can never get the details straight and Oma is always wanting the details....so....here we have the Blossom Street Diaries to record all of the little details.
