Pirate Day

The excitement of kindergarten continues...a week or two ago was pirate day. If you dressed up, then you got to participate in a school wide parade. Hmmm....parade. Wonder if Carly was interested in participating?

I had to lighten these pictures a bunch...it's hard to take photos when you go to school in the dark!!! Luckily, Carly is getting used to our early mornings. Although it often kills me, in this case, it was a good thing she has saved all of her goody bag items from birthday parties. She was able to pull together some serious gear out of her accessory basket.

Maggie's First Day of her new Preschool

Maggie started her 3rd preschool for 2010 about 3 weeks ago. My clingy, difficult to transition child is doing fabulous! Maybe she requires lots of change in her life to keep her stable? Here's some shots of her heading out for her first day.

Her silly face...

Distracted by a lady bug...

Squishing the lady bug while trying to examine it...

Mom, why isn't my lady bug moving???

She discovered this lady bug on the first day of school. Anytime we go outside to play in the front yard she wants to look for her "lost lady bug".

Marina and Will

Finally...my last of the wedding pictures...This one almost breaks my heart...Marina is looking out at the beach where she is supposed to be getting married - accept for the fact that it's been raining ALL afternoon...luckily Marina was unwilling to give up, the rain stopped, and it was perfect.
Practicing the night before...

How perfect is this dress?

Etc., Etc.,

Peaceful moment...
Wild Child! How quickly their moods can change.
I think Marina's choice of blue to add a splash of color throughout the wedding was fabulous!
The reception was at the house on the right and the rehearsal was at the house on the left. One of my favorite moments was when the wedding ceremony had ended and we all turned to head back to the houses and were greeted by the lighted scene below. The picture definitely does not do it justice. It was very magical...

My Flower Girl

Being a flower girl is going to be one of those moments that Carly remembers forever. I didn't realize what a big deal it was going to be to her. A big shout out to Marina for promoting Carly from program girl to flower girl... It made such an impression on her that she wants to be a flower girl/bride for Halloween ...Thanks to aunt Margaret we already have our costume!

Carly just loves the over the shoulder pose...it's kind of her signature move right now.

Heading out to the beach...

Margaret (mother of the bride) was taking care of business on wedding day...she even carried Carly across the bumpy gravel - what a team player!

Here's Geneva - who Carly just refers to as "my older friend".

Such bliss!

Freeman Family at the Wedding

Still trying to get Marina's wedding pictures off my camera. I'm finally making it down to Mark's family and a few of mom and dad. Maggie asked me all weekend when we were going back to the wedding and Carly told her that she would train her to be a flower girl for the next wedding. Not sure if they realize that they will not get to be a flower girl at every wedding.
Here's one of Carly teaching Lilly how to pose for the camera. This over the shoulder look is one of her favorites. I like how Lilly's dress coordinates with Carly's.
Here was the fabulous rainbow that appeared at the end of the wedding.

Mark, sorry we didn't get a family shot with Chaleigh.
I like this next one...not many of pops from this trip, either.
More lessons on being the perfect flower girl.

The Ramers - Part 2

Finally getting back to uploading pictures. Ever since school started, I actually feel like I have less time on the computer. Bek made such a cute flower boy. Carly and Maggie had so much fun running around with him. Hope we get to see Bek again soon!

I like this next picture for some reason. I don't think I noticed at the wedding that Andrew and Bek have the same haircut!
